James's thoughts on NHBC
How long have you been at NHBC?
I have been working at NHBC for just under 7 years, joining as a temp in Claims Administration. An opportunity to move to a full-time position within the Customer Experience team arose, and since joining this team I have held various positions. My current role as Customer Experience team leader means that I provide support to my team, through coaching and mentoring, and ensure that a great service is provided to our customers and consumers.
How has NHBC supported your career development?
NHBC has continuously supported me over the last 7 years; helping and encouraging me to develop the skills needed to succeed in my various roles. I love the fact that my current position allows me to support my team to achieve their goals and ambitions, in the same way that NHBC has supported me. I believe that this in turn results in us offering a better service for our customers and consumers.
NHBC is a great place to work because of the people here – everyone genuinely works towards the same goal – to raise standards, whether this be for a customer, consumer or for the working environment itself.
